Pump Testing & Testing Water Quality & Quantity

Once the borehole is completed and the well liner is in place, our next step is to accurately assess the water well’s yield and performance. This is achieved through a detailed testing process.

Testing Process

We begin by lowering a test pump into the borehole. This pump is used to draw water out, allowing us to test various flow rates and water yields. Through these tests, we can determine the maximum water abstraction rate that can be sustained without depleting the well.

Once we've fine-tuned the test pump settings, we let it run for a specified duration. This period varies depending on the geology we've encountered during drilling. The purpose of this extended run is to allow the water to settle and clear, ensuring we collect the best possible sample for analysis.

Water Analysis and Filtration System Design

The water sample is sent to local scientific services for analysis. Typically, we receive the analysis report within 10 working days. Based on these results, we can then determine the required filtration system for your water well.

Here you can see a sample test report.
